You must know how to crochet already. This session kicks off our “wing-it” crochet sweater class (free if you purchase your yarn here). Kim will guide you through making your own pattern. You will choose a sweater construction and yarn during this session. We will measure each other to prep for the classes and get you started on swatching. Meetings are Wednesday nights from 6-8pm starting September 3rd, for six weeks until October 15th.

Part 1: $65 SUPPLIES INCLUDED -2 skeins Malabrigo Rios plus L-hook. ($45 if you BYO)
Learn Tunisian simple stitch, Tunisian knit stitch, increase, decrease and seaming. This is a 2-part class and uses worsted weight yarn and an L-hook. We will be making a cowl. Part 2 is Sept. 6.

Jennifer Daley, who offers Fair Isle knitting designs and patterns, knitting events, and textile history, will be at River Heights Yarn Co for a Fair Isle workshop. The workshop fee ($120) will include your choice of one of her patterns and three skeins of Jamieson's Spindrift yarn. More details to come!
